Born in 1949 in Nerada, Andhra Pradesh. Did a diploma in Painting at Fine Arts College, Hyderabad and studied graphic art at M.S. University, Baroda. has received gold medals from the A.P. Lalit Kala Akademi and Hyderabad Art Society, Group 8 Award, New Delhi and Outstanding Artist Fellowship, Department of Culture, Government of India, 1982. He taught at the Sarojini Naidu School of Fine Arts, Performing Arts and Communication, University of Hyderabad. He lives and works in Hyderabad.
