Born in 1960 at Kerala. He is a self taught artist working and living in Kovalam. He has attended several art camps on invitation and was awarded in 1990 by the Kerala Lalit Kala Akademi at its Annual Exhibition.
His Solo Exhibitions held between 1984 to 2005 were in India and abroad. Within the country the shows were at Lakshana gallery, Chennai, Hacienda Gallery, Mumbai, Kashi art-cafe, Fort Kochi, Pundole gallery, Mumbai, Gallerie Ganesha, Delhi and abroad at Denmark, Germany and Switzerland. Has also participated in several Group Shows. Participated in 6h International Triennale and 11th Triennale held at Delhi in 1984 and 2005 respectively. His paintings were auctioned in 1998 by Sotheby’s for N.A.B.Mumbai.
His publication involve Clairvoyant, a book of poems by Danish – American Poetess Susanne Jorn, Denmark 1994, based on a set of paintings. Also paintings done for Queen of Arabian Sea by Kashi art cafe, Kochi, 1995. His collections are at the National Gallery of Modern Art, Delhi, National Lalitkala Akademi Delhi, Bharathabhaven, Bhopal, Victoria & Albert Museum, London, Peabody Essex Museum, Ma, USA, Glenberra Museum, Japan and at all the major galleries in India and abroad.
