Bio

SALEEM ARIF QUADRI (previously known as Saleem Arif) was born in 1949 in Hyderabad, India. He was educated at Royal College of Art where he spent considerable time living in London learning art that later shaped his style and technique. He has exhibited widely in Europe, America, & India. His work is collected by both private & public collectors Including Cate Briton, London. In 2006, he had the privilege of having an exhibition (Geometry without gravity) at Shrishti Art Gallery Hyderabad. Some of these works are at the said Gallery. In June 2008 he was awarded MBE (Member Of British Empire) for his services to the art by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth IInd in her annual birthday honors.
